March was the month and 2 days before my birthday, we decided to go public with an announcement on Steam that Storm Electricity will help Super Systems to resume development on Drift Stage.
I have decided to take the last viral post of Drift Stage and quote post it, which resulted in quite a response from the community, ranging from thanking us to quite skeptical voices stating:
After a lot of broken promises and hopes by its previous team, who can blame them?
One month later, we showcased a new updated build to the public at the Indie Game Fest

and the reactions have been overwhelmingly positive when Drift Stage made an update post after 8 years of silence on Kickstarter:
We thank our community, original backers and people who came on board afterwards via getting a key on Steam, we will do our best to bring the game to its glory after the bumpy road it has had behind it.
Please keep in mind that we as a new team cannot comment on anything that happened before 2026. The past is the past and we cannot alter it.
